HOW TO MAKE YOUR HERBACTIVE GREEN SMOOTHIE
1-2 leaves kale (and/or Brussels sprouts, green or red cabbage, broccoli, bok choy)
½ or 1 ripe banana
A cupful of mixed salad (lettuce, watercress, spring greens, beet tops, spinach, cucumber, carrot, fennel, beetroot, celery, tomato, etc)
Fresh garden herbs if available (oregano, parsley, marjoram, basil, rosemary, sage, fennel, thyme, mint, etc)
Wild fresh herbs collected from the garden or when you walk the dog if you can (nettle, dandelion, fat hen, ground elder, yarrow, cleavers, chickweed, alexanders, young hawthorn leaves, etc)
Some fruit (pineapple, apple, bilberry, blueberry, strawberry, raspberry, pear, grapes, elder berry, blackberry, mulberry, etc)
¼ inch fresh ginger root
Slice of lemon or lime (keep rind on if you can)
1 clove of garlic
