ThyroidLess Tonic for hyperthyroidism, helps to correct a malfunctioning thyroid where the output of thyroxine is above the normal range (also a test for iodine ratio). This tonic helps both Graves disease and the nodular type often called Plummer’s disease. The tonic takes into account the many symptoms of hyperthyroidism: an overactive metabolism – protruding eyes, nervousness (tremor in the hands), rapid heartbeat (pounding), over-emotional (outbursts of emotions), excessive sweating and intolerance to heat, hyperactivity, muscle weakness, fatigue, weightloss, IBS type symptoms. For women menstruation is scanty and infrequent, and the hair becomes thin.
Other tonics are often recommended where there are specific symptoms that are being experiences, e.g. Palpitation Tonic (to reduce and regulate the heart rate), NerveShield or WorryLess (for nervousness or emotional fragility), SweatLess Tonic (for excess sweating), etc. And of course the ABC Daily Powder is highly recommended also.
Herbs included in this holistic approach are: burdock root, bugle weed, motherwort, hawthorn, melissa, all-heal flower, catsclaw, eyebright.
Take the full dose (5ml four times a day) for a month, and get a blood test every 6 weeks or so to assess your progress. Contact Alan Hopking MA MNIMH for further advice if required.
